而只剩下对比的成分。形容词最高级的用法:形容词最高级用于两个以上的人和物进行比较,
其结构形式为:主语+谓语(系动词)+the+形容词最高级+名词+表示范围的短语或从句。二、句子成分1、主语主语表示句子主要说明的人或事物,一般由名词,代词,数词,不定式等充当。2、谓语谓语说明主语的动作,状态或特征。一般可分为两类:1),简单谓语由动词(或短语动词)构成。可以有不同的时态,语态和语气。2),复合谓语:情态动词+不定式3、表语4、宾语宾语表示动作行为的对象,跟在及物动词之后,能作宾语的有名词,代词,数词,动词不定式等。有些及物动词可以带两个宾语,往往一个指人,一个指物,指人的叫间接宾语,指物的叫直接宾语。有些及物动词的宾语后面还需要有一个补足语,意思才完整,宾语和它的补足语构成复合宾语。5、定语在句中修饰名词或代词的成分叫定语。用作定语的主要是形容词,代词,数词,名词,副词,动词不定式,介词短语等。形容词,代词,数词,名词等作定语时,通常放在被修饰的词前面。但副词,动词不定式,介词短语等作定语时,则放在被修饰的词之后。6、状语修饰动词,形容词,副词以及全句的句子成分,叫做状语。用作状语的通常是副词,介词短语,不定式和从句等。状语一般放在被修饰的词之后或放在句尾。副词作状语时可放在被修饰的词前或句首。三、句子类型:1、简单句的基本形式是由一个主语加一个谓语构成。2、复合句(ComplexSentence)由一个主句(PrincipalClause)和一个或一个以上的从句(SubordinateClause)构成。3、两个或两个以上的简单句用并列连词连在一起构成的句子,叫做并列句,其基本结构是“简单句+并列连词+简单句”
。四、简单句的五种基本句型基本句型一:SV(主+谓)基本句型二:SVP(主+谓+表)基本句型三:SVO(主+谓+宾)基本句型四:SVoO(主+谓+间宾+直宾)基本句型五:SVOC(主+谓+宾+宾补)五、宾语从句在句子中起宾语作用的从句叫做宾语从句.宾语从句分为三类:动词的宾语从句,介词的宾语从句和形容词的宾语从句.1.由that引导的宾语从句。That只有语法作用,没有实在的意义,在口语和非正式文体中可以省略。2.由连接代词who,whom,whose,what,which和连接副词when,where,why,how引导的宾语从句。这些连接代词和连接副词在宾语从句中充当某个成分。if或whether引导的宾语从句。If和whether在句中的意思是“是否”。初二上册学的宾从就是这些。六、时态:一.一般现在时:(1)表示现在的状态,例如:He’stwelve.

在这几年的课改实验中,作为一线的课改教师,我发现新课改确实给教师和学生带来了巨大的变化,如:学生比以往更加好学了,思维更加活跃了;师生间的关系更加密切了;自主、合作和探究的学习方式在课堂上越来越普及并在逐步地往纵向推广开。但英语新课改也给我们带来了一些困惑,如:拔尖的学生在听、说、读、写等各方面的水平都较以前同级的学生高出许多,但差生所占的比例也比以往高,学生的两极分化从初一就开始凸显。这样学生水平高低差距大,使教师在授课中难以兼顾,无疑增大了授课的难度。还有如何更加充分利用教学资源,如何在有限的课堂教学中捕捉到各个不同学生的思维发散点等等。这些都是课改过程中不可回避的问题。回顾这两年的课改情形,结合自己的实际教学及本地区的实际情况与特点,笔者从热闹的课改进行中,感到了一种深深的忧虑与不安:尽管新课改在某些方面取得了一定的成果,但新课改仍困难重重,面临着严峻的挑战。这其中的原因是复杂的,笔者粗略分析,英语新课改未取得预期的效果,其原因主要表现在以下几个方面:一、新教材部分内容与实际生活脱节新目标英语是中美合编,人民教育出版社与美国汤姆森出版集团合作,在该集团出版的教材Gofor
it!基础上,依据国家教育部颁发的《英语课程标准》(实验稿)改编的初中英语教材,不可否认它吸收并采取了美国人在教育方法和教学理念上的不少优点,但其中不少章节只是将美国教材的内容稍做改动,甚至是直接搬过来的。无疑编者的目的之一是想让新教材更加贴近生活、贴近学生,使之与学生的实际生活密切联系,从而使学生对所学知识产生兴趣,激发其学习英语的动力。可是实际情况又如何呢?举个例子来说明一下吧!比方pizza(比萨饼),据查全区只有一家面包店偶尔卖pizza,我所任教的两个班(每班五十多人)学生来自五显农村,绝大部分恐怕以前连听说也没听说过,因而,对于许多学生而言,比萨饼与一头大象又有什么区别呢?初一的学生不可能有那么好的自制力使自己对毫不熟悉的东西非常感兴趣。又怎么进行任务型教学,让学生对于比萨饼进行各种调查呢?如果教师将其变为中国的饺子或面条,不就显得通俗易懂了吗?同时也减轻了学生的学习负担。如果教师仅领学生纸上谈兵,又怎么能提高他们的学习兴趣,使他们学得牢固呢?因此,我个人认为,就教材内容而言,本套教材的某些章节只适合大中城市等各方面都比较发达的地区,而不适应于小城镇与广大农村。因此,“面向全体”也就成了一句空话,“以人为本”也就失去了意义。二、新教材的操作难度大,加大了教师的备课与授课难度新目标英语每个单元都围绕一个具体的话题展开,有其一定的创新度,这也是它价值之所在。但毕竟课文里的具体的可操作的内容较少,教师在备课时需要自己精心编排方能授课,而教师手头又没有现成的资料或教学辅导材料可以利用,而且很多话题较新,教师处理起来确实有一定的难度,这一切增加了教师的备课难度。再加上每个单元相对独立,不象以往那样知识成体系,许多教师一时还不能完全适应。更何况,我们现在每人教两个班,每班五、六十人,多数学生英语属于
“零起点”,每周十六节课,有的老师甚至得教三个班,每周二十多节课。除了上课,其余的时间光是备课都不够用,况且还要批改作业,要应付上面的各种检查、听课等等,因此,我们只得经常将工作带回家做,不但做到了“以校为家”,甚至做到了“以家为校、以家为办公室”。这并非都是因为教师的思想境界太高,更多的是透出许多教师的无奈。三、小学与初中的英语教学严重脱节,是英语新课改的又一大障碍不妨先举个例子来说明一下吧
!笔者在刚接手初一的两个班时,为了了解一下学生在小学的英语学习水平,在第一堂课分别让两个班的学生默写了一下26个英语字母,结果令人大跌眼镜:两个班竟没有一个人全对,其中有一大半学生是胡乱写或交空白卷的。他们好多人连读也不能全读对,或者将英语字母与汉语拼音混淆了。殊不知,在小学,只有浯文和数学是主科,而英语只是副科。据调查,我区90所小学均开设英语课程,但开设英语课程的起始年级不一。一年级开设课程的仅有33所小学,占36.7%;而到三年级开设课程的也只占62.8%;至于偏远农村,就更不用说了,只能到五年级才开始学习英语。从学校到家长乃至学生,都没有引起足够的重视(况且有些学生参加课外辅导,却没有一人能默写对,也足见其质量优劣了)。小学不是每学期也有英语考试,而且绝大部分学生的成绩都是“优”或“良”,那又是怎么一回事呢?不少学生向我透露:有些小学的英语考试都流于形式,因为每逢英语考试,老师就到考场上给学生念答案或将答案写到黑板上让学生抄,既如此,学生又何苦去努力学习英语呢?这样看来,一切就不难理解了。“英语新课程标准将小学阶段的英语教学纳入了基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标。小学毕业,英语知识目标要达到以下标准:①语音:知道错误的发音会影响交际;知道字母名称的读音;了解简单的拼读规律;了解单词有重音;语音清楚,语调自然。②词汇:学习本级话题范围内的600--700个单词和50个左右的习惯用语;了解单词是由字母构成的。③语法:知道名词有单复数形式;知道动词在不同情况下会有形式上的变化;了解表示时间、地点和位置的介词;了解英语简单句的基本形式和表意功能。④功能:了解问候、告别、感谢、致歉、介绍、请求等交际功能的基本表达形式。⑤话题:能理解和表达有关下列话题的简单信息:数字、颜色、时间、天气、食品、服装、玩具、动植物、身体、个人情况、家庭、学校、朋友、文体活动、节目等。以上五个方面的知识目标实际上是将大纲中规定的很大一部分初中英语的教学内容放到了小学阶段。”(摘自《英语课程标准教师读本》)的确,目前初中已经实行了新课改,而小学真正实行课改的却没有几所,特别是农村小学就更不用说了。这就使好几级学生出现了
“课改真空”,因而在教学内容与教学方法等方面,双方已经脱节;加上许多人认为,小学英语学好与否没有关系,反正上初中以后仍要从头开始学。因此,以我区的实际情况来看,几乎没有一个农村学生小学毕业时能达到上述标准。这也就将英语教学的所有压力都留给了初中英语教师,使小学英语教育形同虚设。可见初中教师真是任重而道远;他们承受着来自教育行政部门、学校、社会、学生家长、学生以及自身生存与发展等各方面的压力。前不久,本市有一项调查统计显示各种职业压力指数中,教师的压力最大,就很能说明问题。笔者把原因再进行一次总结:不少学生升初中时英语水平几乎为零,而新目标英语词汇量大而难,话题范围广,且初中开设的科目众多,各科的压力大,时间紧,因此许多学生一接触英语就有畏难情绪;面对大班额,教师精力又有限,如果家长配合不好,孩子往往会落伍,以后再想弥补真是难于上青天。如此一来,“面向全体学生,注重素质教育”岂不就成了一句空话?!四、新教材的词汇量太大,不少单词拼写难,严重影响了学生学习英语的积极性,也影响了教师的授课质量
“新目标英语”初一阶段的词汇量就超过了一千(而原来我市初中毕业时,英语大纲规定的词汇量也不过八百多个),而新课程标准要求学生在小学毕业时达到的水平(学习本级话题范围内的600--700个单词和50个左右的习惯用语)在这里又无法实现,因而学生上初一后,仅仅是英语词汇量方面,就成为他们学习英语的一大障碍,使他们对英语学习抱有畏难情绪。再加上不少单词的拼写太难,别说对于初一的学生,就是我们这些科班出身的英语教师,也有个别词打开课本时不认得或写不出的(如broccoli、RiodeJaneiro等);还有不少单词,对于刚上初一的学生来说,记忆起来实在太费劲,如assessment,Argentina,auditorium,Californian,competition,conversational,description,exhibition,experience,frequency,gymnastics,lemonade,Portuguese,requirement,traditional等等,并不是说所有的学生都记不住这些词,而是有将近一半的学生难以记忆,面对这么多令人望而生畏的单词,即使孩子的求知欲再强,也不会对自己丝毫不感兴趣的东西牢固记忆吧,毕竟他们还只是孩子。而教师如果逼着学生记,势必使学生对英语学习失去兴趣乃至产生厌恶,稍有不慎就会使学生彻底放弃英语学习,甚至影响其一生的发展前途,这无形之中给教师的教学增加了新的压力。五、评价体系陈旧落后,使教师在新课改中缺乏积极性、创造性与主动性新课程标准所提倡的评价理念理顺了教学与评价(考试)的关系,使评价的内涵得到极大扩充,评价不等于考试,考试只是评价的手段之一。更主要的是要“注重过程评价,促进学生发展”。
但事实上,这里几乎所有的学校对教师教学水平的评价,都以其所教班级的考试成绩作为最主要的甚至是唯一的标准。其中的原因之一就在于这样的评价体系最易操作,简单明了。但随之而来的问题就接踵而至了,由于评价教师只看学生笔头考试的成绩,只重考试结果,甚至把这作为教师评先树优的最重要的衡量标准,因而,教师在教学过程中,也不敢完全放开手脚,按照“新课改实践建议”中所提倡的那样,“组织生动活泼的课外活动,适应现代社会发展对英语课程的要求”(事实上,大多数学校出于安全考虑,管理都极为严格,不允许教师轻易擅自搞课外活动),而只能想尽一切办法去提高学生的笔头考试成绩(而并非其综合运用语言的能力),这样一来,要想全面提高学生的综合水平,也就难上加难了。上面评价教师的尺度又直接影响着教师对学生的评价,教师在评价学生时,既不敢随便“体现学生在评价中的主体地位”,也不敢“注重形成性评价对学生发展的作用”,更不敢“注意评价方法的多样性和灵活性”,由于中国的考试体制的存在,学校便不能把“阶段性评价”作为主要评价标准,老师自然更无能为力了。在基础教育方面,厦门市在全国是较为先进的,同安区的教育也毫不逊色,英语教学质量如何呢?
